‘CinemAddicts’ Week 8: Triple 9, Standoff, and A Country Called Home

During this week’s episode of CinemAddicts, Anderson Cowan and I cover the high octane heist thriller “Triple 9” and the Thomas Jane/Laurence Fishburne actioner “Standoff.” I also briefly chime in on “A Country Called Home,” a wonderful and subtle indie drama headlined by Imogen Poots and co-starring Ryan Bingham, Mary McCormack and Mackenzie Davis (Poots and Davis worked together on That Awkward Moment).

Anderson’s streaming pick this week was the corrupt cop documentary The Seven Five and my Blu-ray recommendation is Estranged, a horror thriller which features a solid performance from lead actress Amy Manson.
