“Black Rose” and “How To Be A Latin Lover” are the movies covered on this week’s CinemAddicts. Details on the program, as well as how we’ll be changing up the program is below!
Hey everyone, due to a crazy schedule for both me and Anderson, the CinemAddicts release schedule has been out of whack, and that’s bled into this site as well (my apologies!!). Changes are coming in the next couple of weeks, but if you don’t download the show on iTunes, I’ve put the last two eps on Soundcloud below.
On this week’s show, Anderson and I talk about Donnie Darko’s 15th Anniversary, the horror film The Blackcoat’s Daughter, and Live Cargo. Details available after the jump!!
Apologies for posting the Episode 64 recap way too late than usual. One reason is a good one, as Anderson Cowan is currently shooting his feature debut Groupers. The other reason is I’ve been slammed to the gills as well being a Manny and figuring things out w/ my respective blogs. Alas, here’s the recap from 64 – and if there’s one thing I can leave you with regarding this post – please hunt down Dig Two Graves!!!
Mean Dreams, starring the late Bill Paxton, is reviewed on this week’s CinemAddicts, and All Nighter is also briefly discussed but, due to an embargo, I couldn’t actually “review the movie.” More details down below!!
Due to Anderson Cowan’s fatherhood, podcast and Groupers duties, coupled with my manny and blogging schedule, we weren’t able to post a CinemAddicts episode until late Friday! First off – apologies for that – but Anderson is determined to keep the weekly feed going – and this episode’s a good one film-wise. Check out the details below my fellow Cinema-addicts!!!
One of these days Anderson will truly love a comic book movie, and I’m betting that flick might be Logan. I gave it four and a half stars on this week’s show, as Logan and X:Men: First Class are my favorites of the lot. The Soundcloud version of this week’s episode is available after the jump!
We’ve got two first rate films this week, which is a marked improvement to last episode’s dismal offering (although Anderson deep pulled the excellent Untamed Heart). Details on the documentary Dying Laughing and the zombie apocalypse thriller The Girl With All The Gifts below!
This was both a disappointing and awesome episode of CinemAddicts for me. The sadness comes from my sheer disappointment of A Cure For Wellness and XX. Anderson’s pick of Untamed Heart, as well as his evisceration of a short I adore made this episode worth its weight in gold (or in our case, pennies). Details below!!!
